Artistic Builders is a full-service custom home builder serving Teton Valley, Rexburg, and Idaho Falls. We cap our schedule at ten homes a year to protect quality, and recent Teton Valley builds run $300–400 per square foot.

We keep the core of every build with our own crews, instead of scattering the work across a rotating cast of subcontractors. The more scattered the crews, the faster quality slips, so we hold our work close, and that's how our builds hold their schedule and their standard from the first drawing to the final set of keys.

We're also the construction partner behind multiple spec and development projects in Teton Valley, including builds for Teton Development & Design.

Meet Jon

Three decades in, and still on the job site.

I've been building (and firefighting) for most of my life. I've always been handy, and I've always been happiest working outside. I started out in plaster and stucco back in 1996, and over the years I kept adding to what we could do, one trade at a time, until running the whole build as a general contractor was the natural next step.

That long road is exactly why I care so much about quality control. The more your crews are scattered across a dozen different subs, the faster the quality slips, so we keep our own crews close to the work and consolidated. That's how you protect the standard, and how you give people the best value for what they're paying.

I don't cut corners: not on the quality of the work, not on keeping you in the loop, and not on respecting your budget. The home I'm proudest of is my own, the one I live in with my wife and our two kids, and I hold every project we take on to that same bar.

I've spent my whole adult life in Idaho, and Teton Valley has been home since 2011, Blaine County before that. When I'm not on a site you'll find me snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, or golfing. Always busy, always outside. This is the country I build in, and it's the country I love.

We price on cost plus a fixed fee locked to your original budget. We're budget-conscious by default, and our fee doesn't grow just because the project does.
