Basement Finishing

The most square footage you can add to a home for the money — finished right, permitted, and built to last.

A finished basement is the best value in residential construction: the shell is already there, so nearly every dollar goes straight into livable, comfortable space. We finish basements into bedrooms, bathrooms, family rooms, home theaters, gyms, and more.

Because we're a full-trades builder, your basement gets the same framing, electrical, plumbing, and finish crews that build our custom homes — properly insulated, code-compliant, egress-safe, and comfortable in an Idaho winter.

Done right the first time

Basements punish shortcuts — moisture, egress, and mechanicals all have to be handled correctly. We permit the work and build it to last, so it adds real, appraisable value to your home.

Basement Finishing — questions we hear

How much does it cost to finish a basement?

Basement finishing is priced by size, layout, and how many bathrooms or wet areas are involved. It's typically the lowest cost-per-square-foot way to add finished space to a home. We'll give you a fixed-fee number on your plans.

Do I need permits to finish my basement?

Yes, and we handle them. Permitted, code-compliant work is what makes the added space count toward your home's value and keeps egress and safety right.

Can you add a bedroom or bathroom in the basement?

Absolutely — bedrooms (with proper egress) and bathrooms are among the most common basement finishes we do.
